Original Watercolour Painting by Jacqueline Hill [OR260]
The moon was a ghostly galleon, tossed upon cloudy seas… the road was a ribbon of moonlight, winding through the trees… (The Highwayman)
This is a tiny little 2″ diameter watercolour on cotton rag paper 2″ diameter. We saw the moon reflecting over the ocean when we stayed at Broadbeach last weekend for a relaxing getaway. Every time I see a moon like this I always think of the highwayman.
